Lantau: Buddha’s birthday
May 12, 2008Today we traveled to Lantau, another island in Hong Kong. It was the national celebration of Buddha’s birthday, and Lantau is home to the largest statue of Buddha.
Editor’s note: We were not affected by the devastating earthquake that rocked Chengdu in the Sichuan province of China, although there have been reports that the earthquake could be felt in Hong Kong and Vietnam.
